“[REAP] let me see for myself the hard work and dedication that is present in the career choice I make.”
“I am firmly convinced that the program provides strong reinforcement for students interested in science and engineering as a career, and also provides high quality assistants for university research. I appreciate the opportunity to once again take part in the REAP program.”
—Dr. Robert Cody
Do you belong in a career with the research scientists pushing the frontiers of human knowledge; with the engineers designing the lastest game-changing tech? Here’s a way to find out: participate in the Research and Engineering Apprenticeship Program. Spend a summer doing the real thing—real research in university research labs and in the field, solving real problems, working shoulder to shoulder with real scientists. For over 30 years, we’ve been providing high school students who are fascinated by the possibilities in sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) a chance to experience first-hand what a career in science or engineering is all about. A summer as a paid REAP apprentice is as close as you can get to the real thing—because it is the real thing. Explore belonging.
